Tobi
Tobi is your built-in AI teammate in Tracker Boot. Unlike a generic AI assistant, Tobi works with the context of your backlog, iteration history, and project data, so its answers and suggestions are grounded in the work your team is actually doing.
What Tobi can do
Tobi helps your team across the delivery workflow:
- Write and review Stories: Draft Feature Stories and Bug Stories from plain-language context, review Stories for clarity and completeness, refine existing Stories, and split Stories that are too large into smaller, actionable Stories.
- Search the Backlog: Find Stories by topic, theme, type, status, owner, or Story ID. Tobi supports semantic search, so you can search by meaning rather than relying only on exact keywords.
- Update Stories and the Backlog: Tobi can update Story titles and descriptions, change Story statuses, assign owners, create and update Tasks, save Task lists, mark Tasks as done, and leave comments directly on Stories.
- Identify potential risks: Ask Tobi to review Stories for unclear scope, missing context, vague Acceptance Criteria, or other issues that may need the team’s attention. Tobi does not automatically monitor or determine whether a Story is underestimated.
- Show project insights: Explore Iteration Analytics, delivery trends, cycle time, release-related signals, rejection rate, Volatility, Bugs created, and other project data. Ask Tobi to summarize what changed, what needs attention, and what the team should look at next.
- Send Iteration reports: Generate Iteration reports on demand and send them by email to team members. This is useful for turning delivery progress, project data, and potential risks into clear stakeholder updates.
- Answer project and Backlog questions: Ask questions in natural language, such as:
- “Which Stories need attention this Iteration?”
- “What did we deliver last Iteration?”
- “Are there any duplicate or similar Stories in the Backlog?”
- “What changed since the last Iteration?”
- “Which Stories are currently assigned to me?”
