Three Tobi characters

Tobi Is Now Available in Free Beta from June 15th, 2026

Tobi is now available as a free beta for teams using Tracker Boot. During the beta, credits are provided per project and shared across team members, so your team can try Tobi in real backlog and delivery workflows for two months.

We’d love to learn how Tobi works in your day-to-day work. If something helps, feels confusing, or could be better, tell Tobi: “Please share this with the Tracker Boot team.” Features, usage limits, and availability may change during the beta period.

Hi, I'm Tobi, your AI teammate. I can review stories, refine backlog items, answer delivery questions, and help you check release readiness.

Tobi Can Now Take Action Across Your Backlog

Tobi now helps teams move from conversation to action inside Tracker Boot. You can ask Tobi to save reviewed and improved story content to the backlog, create and update tasks, add comments, change story status, manage story owners, and save generated task lists.

Tobi can also generate iteration reports on demand and send them by email, helping teams turn backlog activity, delivery signals, and iteration progress into clearer stakeholder updates. Alongside these updates, Tobi now supports more personalized responses with long-term memory across conversations, plus Korean and Japanese localization based on browser language.

API Keys & Bulk Story Selection Improvements

Tracker Boot now makes it easier to manage integrations and large backlogs with new API key management and multi-story selection improvements. You can securely create, copy, and revoke API keys directly from your account settings, with clearer visibility into active keys and safer handling of credentials.

We've also added Shift+Click range selection for stories, making bulk backlog operations faster and more efficient. Alongside these updates, we've shipped reliability, security, and usability improvements across the product.

Meet Tobi: Your AI Teammate for Faster User Story Reviews

We're rolling out Tobi, your built-in AI teammate, to a selected group of early users first. Tobi helps teams move user story work forward with less back and forth: surface what is missing or risky with evidence pulled directly from the user story, get concrete rewrite suggestions grounded in agile practices, and slice user stories that are too large for an iteration. Every change requires your explicit approval before it touches the backlog.

Tobi also covers natural language analytics, iteration insights, and semantic user story search, so you can find context fast, understand delivery trends, and keep the team aligned.

If you're part of the beta, we'd love your feedback. A broader public release is on the way soon.

Present Mode and Bulk Actions

Present & Organize: Focus on What Matters in Your Backlog

Tracker Boot now enables you to present and manage user stories in a dedicated Present Mode, designed to support focused discussion and clearer editing during IPM and Pre-IPM. User stories open in a larger, distraction-free view, making it easier to read, discuss, and update content using rich text tools. Seamless label and blocker search helps surface what needs attention, while pagination keeps discussions focused on the relevant user stories.

Alongside Present Mode, Bulk Actions are now available. You can select multiple user stories at once to delete or apply labels, reducing repetitive work and making backlog reorganization easier.

Together, these updates help teams review and organize user stories with less friction.

Tracker Boot MCP server

Tracker Boot now speaks Model Context Protocol (MCP). Plug it into Claude Desktop, Claude Code CLI, GitHub Copilot Coding Agent, or Devin so your AI assistants can fetch stories, manage tasks, run searches, and read iteration analytics without leaving their workspace.

Setup takes a couple of minutes with Docker and your API key. Full configs and the 16-tool reference: Setup guide →

Project invitation email

Invite & Empower: Bring Teammates into Your Projects

Project invitations now arrive as in-app notifications and secure email invites. Notifications let teammates know an invitation is waiting, while acceptance happens through the email invite with token validation to ensure security. New users are guided through Tracker Boot's onboarding before joining their first project, whereas existing users can accept immediately and be added right away. Roles (Owner, Member, or Viewer) can be set from the start and updated anytime for flexible, secure collaboration.

Viewer role assignment

New Role: Viewer for Insight Without Disruption

The new Viewer role lets you bring teammates or stakeholders into a project without adding extra noise. Unlike Owners and Members, Viewers can't create or edit User Stories or manage roles. They simply observe and stay informed. Perfect for clients, reviewers, or anyone who needs visibility without direct participation. You can assign the Viewer role when sending an invitation or adjust it anytime later, keeping collaboration flexible and focused.
